Safeguarding Policy

safeguarding

At the United Reformed Church here in Clitheroe, we believe that safeguarding people is not just about reading and adopting policies and procedures. In order to make a difference, they must be put into practice.

A Safeguarding Co-Ordinator and Deputy Safeguarding Co-Ordinator have been appointed and commissioned by Clitheroe United Reformed Church to respond to any safeguarding concerns.

If you have any concerns about the safety or welfare of a child or adult in need of protection you can contact our Safeguarding Coordinator, Kelly Stewart, by email to clitheroeurccourier@gmail.com Kelly is a member of Clitheroe URC and she co-ordinates the church’s safeguarding policy and procedure. Kelly is the first point of contact for safeguarding issues and is an advocate for good safeguarding practice.
